South Korea Student Visa
The passport of South Korea is one of the most powerful in the world. As a result of its mutual waiver agreements, South Korea has a rather open visa policy. International students, on the other hand, must still apply for a visa.
This is how the application process works:
Certificate of Visa Issuance
Before doing anything else, you must first receive a Certificate of Visa Issuance. This certificate is not required for all applicants, however, it is required for study visa applicants. In simple terms, you submit some very basic documents to your local South Korean embassy, such as your passport, health insurance, proof of registration and payment of tuition fees, and so on. These documents are then evaluated, and a certificate is provided if everything goes well. The validity of this certificate is three months. When a complete study visa is issued, it automatically expires. If you live in a nation that does not have diplomatic relationships with South Korea or has no South Korean representation, you can finish this process by mail.
